Raising awareness for post-traumatic stress

PTSD BattleCry is an organization that aims to raise awareness and reduced stigma around post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). PTSD BattleCry originated from a project, Evening of Honour, which focused on assisting a small community in honouring and remembering their local Afghanistan War Veterans through dedicating a permanent memorial. These veterans include those who are still with us today and those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice, leaving us with just their memory. The memorial project is in partnership with the community, for the community and was meant to provide a permanent location in which one can grieve, honour and remember. After dedicating a location to grieve, an Evening of Honour co-founder saw the impact that the memorial has on not only the community but also soldiers and veterans. Co-founder, Jeremy Mac Knott wanted to continue this impact by further supporting the community and veterans by raising awareness for PTSD beyond the continuing efforts of Evening of Honour. PTSD BattleCry has this website as well as a Facebook page that can be accessed by those seeking more information and resources surrounding post-traumatic stress. PTSD BattleCry also partners with Corporal 4 Life Apparel to direct funds raised to train services dogs for those in need.
